Do you have a short film you dream to make? This is your chance to bring that dream to life! Through Indiegenius, two (2) filmmakers will receive a P500,000 grant to produce their projects. See guidelines below:

Open to all Filipino
filmmakers age 18
and up (without a
feature film produced
or in-production)

Applicants will submit
a concept pitch and script
for 10-minute short film short film
narrative, animation, documentary,
or hybrid form that can be
produced by November

Projects with a
focus on regional
indigenous stories
are encouraged

  1. Fill out online SUBMISSION FORM here.
  2. Via the form, upload a brief concept pitch written in English or Tagalog (no more than 12 slides/pages) for a short film containing:
    • Cover slide with title, genre, filmmaker’s name
    • Logline
    • Story Synopsis
    • Key Character Descriptions
    • Visual inspiration or mood board• Applicant’s Biography (citing regional and/or indigenous ties, if any)
    • Filmmakers’ Intention: Why must this story be told now?
    • Short film script in PDF format (12pt font)

(NOTE: Uploaded pitch submissions must be in PDF form and not exceeding 5MB limit)

A total of ten (10) applicants will be selected to go through the month-long mentorship program where two (2) will be awarded P500,000 each to produce their film.
