short film projects

Do you have a short film you dream to make? This is your chance to bring that dream to life! Through Indiegenius, two (2) filmmakers will receive a P500,000 grant to produce their projects. See guidelines below:

Open to all Filipino
filmmakers age 18 - 35 years old

Applicants will submit
a concept pitch and script

  1. Fill out online SUBMISSION FORM here.
  2. Via the form, upload a brief concept pitch written in English or Tagalog (no more than 10 slides/pages) for a short film containing:
    • Cover slide with title, genre, filmmaker’s name
    • Logline
    • Story Synopsis and/or story beats (key narrative moments in the film)
    • Key Character Descriptions
    • Filmmakers’ Intention: Why must this story be told now? (May cite any regional/indigenous ties, if any)
    • Short film script in PDF format (12pt font)

Use stong visuals to best communicate the film you intend to make

(NOTE: Uploaded pitch submissions must be in PDF form and not exceeding 5MB limit)

Ten (10) finalist applicants will compete for the grant and an additional ten (10) scholars will be selected to take part in the weeklong program lab. Two (2) finalist applicants will be awarded P500,000 each to produce their film.
